The High-Pressure Laminate is
manufactured with decorative surface papers, impregnated with
melamine resins, bonded under heat and pressure to kraft papers
impregnated with phenolic resins.
The sheets are then bonded at
pressures greater than 1000 pounds per square inch at temperatures
approaching 300F (149C)
The Board is Class 1 fire-rated and
exceed performance requirements of NEMA LD 3-1995 Grade SGF. Surface
burning characteristics in accordance with ASTM e 84; unbonded:
Flame spread 35; Smoke developed 80.
